Rules - Tecnifibre Non Profi Cup 2009

1. Single competition.

2. The term of competition is from 20.5. to 30.9.2009.

3. Deadline for players signing is until 18.5.2009 on the board in our club.

4. Players will be devided according to their ability and performance into groups (Leagues).

5. Each group contains about 7 10 players.

6. Competitors play each other in groups. Matches are played on 2 best sets (1:1 supertiebreak, to 10 pts.) and must be played at the latest date given by the competition committee.

7. The player written as a first one in the competition schedule oughts to connect his opponent till 10th day in that month and arrange match date; the match date has to be written on the club´s board by the player written as a first one. If the player written as a second one (so called guest player) will not be connected till 10th day in that month, announce this to the competition committee. The player written as a first one is also supposed to take balls (new or according to players agreement). Court is booked by both of them together. The winner should write down the score into the sheet on the club's board.

8. Matches which won't be played untill given term for any reason will be defaulted on behalf of player who didn't cause it!

9. Each LEAGUE has its own table (sheet). Players gain 2 points for win, 1 point for loss and 0 point for default.

10. Final results will be put together according to number of points recieved by players during whole season. When two players are equal it's followed by mutual match result.

11. Final standings result in this: last two players from 1st LEAGUE, 2nd LEAGUE and 3rd LEAGUE relegate one league down for next season and first two players from 2nd LEAGUE, 3rd LEAGUE and 4th LEAGUE promote one league up for next season.

12. Winner of each group will be announced and awarded by firm TECNIFIBRE.

13. Defaults and protests will be solved by competition committee: L. Zahradník, J. Pecha, P. Mudřík, who has the right to adjust current rules.
